Nancy Murphy - Manager
Nancy’s roots run deep in Wood County. Dating back to 1859, her great-great grandparents traveled by covered wagon from South Carolina to become one of the county’s early pioneer families. Born and raised in Mineola, Nancy left for college, raised a family, and sang professionally for many years. Her love for the people of Mineola and the surrounding communities brought her back home to East Texas to become the current Manager.
“Overseeing the day-to-day operations while serving the people in my community, fuels my passion for Mineola Civic Center.”
Lisa Bright – Assistant Manager
At the tender age of 10, Lisa and her family moved to Mineola when she was in 5th grade. One Sunday morning while attending church with her family, Lisa caught the eye of a young man who would eventually become her husband. Together they raised two children and now have five grandchildren. After working in her husband’s family business for thirty years, she accepted the position as Assistant Manager of the Mineola Civic Center.
