Several generations of children from Mineola and the surrounding communities have enjoyed swinging, climbing and playing on the civic center playground. Recent updates include the installation of new swings and fall zone material.

The Mineola Civic Center is a 501(3) nonprofit organization and is supported by donations from individuals, corporations and foundations, and special event and RV rental income.
